Suman M. Wasan MD, MS, PharmD, FACP, FSVM, RVT

Suman M. Wasan, MD, MS is currently Clinical Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Surgery at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Vascular medicine specialist at UNC Health. Dr. Wasan has been the principal investigator in several research projects regarding chronic venous disease, pulmonary embolism and deep-vein thrombosis. Dr. Wasan has published and presented both locally and nationally. Currently, she serves as a member of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
In addition to Dr. Wasan’s role on the C-TRACT Steering Committee, she serves as a member of the Interventions and Venous Ulcer Committees and serves as the Co-Chair of the Medical Therapy Committee.
