Clive Kearon MB, MRCPI, FRCP(C), PhD

Dr. Clive Kearon is the Principal Investigator of the Data Coordinating Center at the Ontario Clinical Oncology Group at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Kearon, who also held this role for the ATTRACT study, is the Jack Hirsh Professor of Thromboembolism at McMaster University. He has been the PI of many trials evaluating how to diagnose and treat DVT and PE, and he is chairperson for the American College of Chest Physician’s (ACCP) CHEST Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guidelines on Antithrombotic Therapy for VTE Disease. His research is supported by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the NIH.
