Dr. Suresh Vedantham is the National Principal Investigator for the C-TRACT Trial and its Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC). Dr. Vedantham is a Professor of Radiology & Surgery in the Interventional Radiology Section at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. A practicing interventional radiologist, he has extensive experience with the clinical use and study of endovascular therapy for the treatment of post-thrombotic syndrome. Dr. Vedantham was the Prinicipal Investigator of the recently completed, award-winning, landmark ATTRACT Trial that evaluated study of new treatments for acute DVT. Dr. Vedantham serves as Assistant Dean for Clinical Research for the Washington University School of Medicine, and was recently President of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
